Located in the heart of Grandview Heights, Ultrashade is a high-end tattoo studio designed with both artists and clients in mind. We offer:
A stylish and comfortable lounge area , one for you and one for your clients.
A professional photo room with high-end equipment to capture your work in the best light.
A kitchenette to keep your meals refrigerated and a supply of drinks.
A prime location surrounded by top-tier restaurants, coffee shops, and easy parking.
Resident Artists
We offer flexible work structures:
Booth Rent Option – Set your own rates and schedule.
Commission Option – Earn 60% of your profits while keeping 100% of your tips.
Guest Artists
We love welcoming talented tattooers from across the country. Our guest artist rate is $200 per day or $600 per week, which includes access to:
A fully equipped private station.
Medical and stencil supplies.
Professional lighting and a dedicated photography space.
Support with advertising your guest spot through our social media.
To secure your guest spot, we require a $200 deposit, which will be applied to your stay.
Our hours: Our studio manager works Tuesday-Saturday 10am-6pm, however, our studio is open to artists around the clock, with access to a lockbox.
What We Provide:
We stock essential supplies so you can focus on your work.
Tattoo Supplies: Ink caps, razors, grip tape, rotary pen covers, paper towels, ointment/glide, sterile tongue depressors, plastic wrap, barrier film, masking tape, dental bibs, drape sheets, rinse cups, and spray/squeeze bottles.
Medical Supplies: Madacide, green soap, alcohol, witch hazel, distilled water, SHARPS container.
Stencil Supplies: Stencil stuff/application, stencil paper, Epson stencil printer, and a regular ink printer.
Equipment: Massage bed/table, large arm rest, lighting, double tier tray, credenza with storage, and trash can.
You will need to bring: Your tattoo machine, needles, gloves, inks.
Guest artists and booth rent individuals are responsible for collecting your own payments.
